Throughout the day today and as I sit here i find myself peering out at the river across the street. I am amazed at how high it is in one day! I can see the river from my seat, i can even see it while i am sitting on the floor in the kitchen, something i can usually only see when standing. I walk around the house peering out the windows seeing how big of puddles i can find and think this is not going to be good. I keep thinking, ok, when is the flood going to happen. At what point do we move everything up? Ryan and the kids went to check the rock level, we are at 6 visable(4=flood, 8 or more=normal). I go to the basement and find that two walls we have not had issues with in the past are leaking like crazy. I find that the walls we usually have issues with are mostly dry. Before last year all of the above would not have stirred any emotions in us, but this year ryan and I find ourselves questioning when the next flood is coming. Is this a lack of faith on our part or are we just normal human beings that have experienced something once and afraid for number 2. (Granted this time we would know when and how much to remove.)As the day goes on I find myself praying to help me not worry about it. As we did last year we looked to God for his hand in all that was happening and we will do the same this year.

Catch Up!
I have been meaning to post this for a week or so. This is a game that Sammie came up with! She had just wanted me to push her in her doll stroller. I thought why not and I figured, "she had 2 so what does it matter if she breaks one. And Ryan hates them so even more of a who cares reason!" So I started out pushing Sammie and then Dash wanted a try and this is what you get. We played for about 20 min!
Dash wanted a try, but I am pretty sure he was really disappointed when Sammie didnt launch him like he did her. This way didnt last too long.
Sammie the Sailor Girl!
Good Picture Day!
Today my camera was working for me and I was able to get some great pictures of the kids. Dash for months now has a "cheese" face! Today I was able to capture the Dash smile that everyone off camera knows and loves. Sammie was being herself in the shirt she picked out all by herself. It is times like right now as I am typing when I am really frusterated with their inability to listen and obey that I need to see these pictures to remind me of how cute and wonderful they can be. I wonder what God looks at when we are being really ugly!?!
