best sight of sins

As I have said before that the saying goes, "kids are your best sight of your sins" I know that God is using Dash to show me how much I yell at Sammie throughout the day. He speaks to her in a really ugly tone often. WOW, I didnt know it was that much. Yes I felt like I was yelling all the time lately, but it was an eye opener for me. Thank you God for using your kids to show me my faults.

Sammie's Phrases~

Sammie's latest phrases are:

"NICE"~something we say all the time!
"BE CAREFUL MOM"
"I GOT IT"
"DASH, NO TOUCH IT"
"OH GOSH" ~ that she got from a friend of ours, not something we say.
"NO TOUCH ALI'S EYES"
"MY TURN"

In addition to her phrases she likes to try and "parent" Dash by putting him on a time out or spanking or counting to 3 for him. Kinda funny, but so much more eye opening! As it is said, "kids are the best sight of your sins"

Glo Worm

you can see the "tail" of the blanket. This gave us only a limited range from her bed that we could go.

contrary to what you might think, the biliblanket did not act as a heating blanket!

Ali had to have a biliblanket on while we were in the hospital because she was slightly jaundice with a chance of becoming very jaundice. She has blood type A something while I am O+ which doesnt like any other blood type(interesting since O- is the staple all around). With this being said Ali had a chance of having a low blood cell count and a high level of jaundice. To be cautious the pediatrician put her on the biliblanket to keep her numbers low. Even on the blanket she got to an 8!

Our Ali Girl

This picture was taken July 1st in our backyard! Who knew that in July she would need long sleeves, pants, socks, a fleece blanket and a hat~

Ali has been our "easy" baby thus far. She sleeps, eats, poops, eats, sleeps. And then repeats. She is up for a few hours during the day, but mostly she is found asleep.

Best Buds

Dash, Isaac, and Caralynn
Dash and Isasc Doese

Dash, Isaac, Tyler
The three boys picked up where they left off...playing like mad! It's like they haven't been apart for over a year. Unfortunately the time will come when the Doese's will head back to Atlanta. We will cherish the memories and look forward to their next visit, or perhaps our visit to them :)

Answer to Prayer

Some time ago Dash had been praying that Isaac would come to his house to play basketball. This past week his prayer was answered.

So cool to see God work in a child's life about something so "small" to us but "huge" to Dash. Thank you Jesus for your answer. Even though it was not right away like he had wanted, You answered it in Your timing!
