The new drugs seem to be working and so far no side affect of mood swings!!!
I gave Sammie a great big hug yesterday and said, welcome back! She thought I was weird!

Cars 2
Dash was quite excited this morning when he woke up! He knew that today was the release of Cars 2! We went to the 7:45 showing. I have heard mixed reviews; there is a murder, might be too scary for the kids, Cars 1 is waaay better, this one tops Cars 1. So as you can see with the whirlwind of reviews, I didn't fully know what to expect. However, here is the attitude I went into the show with, "I have yet to be let down by Pixar!" So the four of us piled into the car and headed out to the theater.
I do not want to give away the movie! So I will be brief:
murder? yes. Did the kids get it? no
Which is better 1 or 2? If you are going and expecting the film to be about McQueen and his racing, you will be disappointed. Unlike the first, that is not the main plot here. If you go in after watching some of the trailers, you will expect it to be more of a spy movie and therefore be very satisfied.
The Cohan family loved the movie! I will be out purchasing the DVD on it's release date and will hopefully see it again in theaters!

Sleep....
Well, we are back right where we started last year with Sammie's sleep issues. We have cut out the chocolate. She takes Zyrtek daily and melatonin daily. These things help!
I had noticed back in March this clear runny nose that has been dripping from the girl's poor nose. She has not complained about it, but all day I am seeing her wipe her nose on her shirt. To this day it is still dripping. Lately she has added in eye rubbing and sneezing. These made me think it was allergies bothering her(since the rest of the family was suffering from them) and keeping her out of a deep sleep. So, I set up an appointment with her allergist. He works at 3 offices between Mukwonago, Waukesha, and Brookfield. We usually go to Brookfield office, however we couldn't get in with him until the end of July. So I called around and was able to get her in yesterday. I wanted to address the issue sooner than later :)
Unfortunately, Ali threw a full blown temper tantrum in the office and was screaming bloody murder. I'm sure they thought I was killing her, when all I wouldn't do was let her out of the stroller :)
The appointment went well. Based on Sammie's symptoms, it sounds like she is allergic to the molds in the air from all the rain and moisture from March to October. Which is why when she had her sleep study, she was fine :) So, we have started her on Singulair with a plan on phasing out the Zyrtek if it works. Two side affects to the Singulair are upset stomach and moodiness. So, if we go through the moodiness, I am gonna pull her off of it, as she is already moody from lack of sleep! Hopefully, we have found the answer to her sleep issues, again!
Peanut Butter
On Wednesday, Dash made is very own Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich. He got everything out and then proceeded to put peanut butter and jelly on his two pieces of bread. He must have done a good job because he ate all of it! My big boy is getting bigger and bigger by the day!

June 8th, 2011
Dash drawing his last picture for Ms. Melinda just as we are about to walk out the door. As you can see it is a dinosaur train with Dash and Ms. Melinda on it.
That is 1 year down and many many more to go!
They ended the year at a park. There was a pinata. Other great news, Ms. Melinda is pregnant! Her and her fiance got married on Saturday, June 11th! So a baby in the first year of marriage.
