Happy 9th Birthday

9 years ago.....
*you were 5 days late
*it took 2 days of labor to bring you into this world
*I was admitted to the hospital at 1:30 am
*At 5:30 am we found out you would need to go straight the warmer, you had pooped in the womb
*we named you womb pooper
*you had lots of grandparents awaiting your arrival and visiting us at the hospital
*At 4:30 pm it was time to start pushing
*at 6:26 pm your face arrived into this world; this momma and daddy couldn't have been more proud
*it was close, things were getting complicated, but your Dad NEVER allowed your mom to know how dangerous things were getting
*you were admitted to the Waukesha Memorial NICU
*you showed you were a fighter
*you had A LOT of visitors that were not able to see you! Winston LittlefieldKim Rauscher Littlefield Lisa Molnar John Molnar Ashlyn Kaye Roberts Callie Pagel Gretchen Hein Doese (i know there were more, but I didn't take any pictures because they couldn't see you)
*you had to stay at the hospital an extra day because you were on an antibiotic to prevent a lung infection
*the movie cars came out and you saw it in theaters
*you changed my life forever and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Dash Cohan, I cannot believe you are turning 9 this year!
In the past 9 years you have learned that Jesus is your Savior and have accepted Him as that. You have learned what it takes to be a GREAT big brother. In the past 9 years you have taught me what it takes to be a GREAT mom. You have taught me how to love in a way that I never knew was possible. You love to prove to others that nothing matters; race, age, special gifts from Above; you are ready to look past it ALL and have fun. You LOVE having fun! Dash, it has been a blast being your mom, provider, care taker, protector, these past 9 years, now it is time to change and move more towards teaching you how to be that grown up. Teaching you how to be the man God created you to be. We have worked on it and laid that foundation, now it is time to build it up so when you leave me in 9 SHORT years, you will have all you need to live the life God created you to live.

Serving Others

It has been several years since we have had the opportunity to serve in this manner. When the kids were smaller, before any of them started school, we found ourselves ringing bells weekly. This year we rang again. However, instead of weekly, we did it once. It was  long time for the kids, but they did great. It was near the end that it was getting tough. Can't wait to continue to tradition!

loose tooth

Ali lost her first tooth in November. It was a traumatic experience for her. She really struggled with it. Thankfully when it was hanging by a thread, Mrs. Mickelburg at school pulled it out for her.

Fall Fun 2014

Halloween 2014

 At the Church Carnival

This year we went trick or treating in Horicon. We started at Grandma Kitty's house and then made our way around. This year we all went as a family, Ryan included. It was helpful that Halloween was on a Friday. The kids made a great haul!

Blaeske Wedding October 2014

This fall Ryan was the officiant for Rachel and Toby's wedding. He did AWESOME! It was quick, to the point, and perfectly what this couple needed. After we hung out and celebrated with them!

Soccer 2014

All three kids played soccer through the Town of Genesee this fall.

Ali had a great coach and would rock it when she put her mind to it. She would be deteremined and attack!

Sammie also had a great coach and would run around the field like she does. She was good at taking the ball from others and taking it down field.

Dash had the same coach this year as last. He had nearly the same team as well, except this year he went all boy. No girls on his team. He enjoys running all over the field but also loves defending his goal!

Kindergarten celebration

To celebrate that my baby girl is off to full day school, we went to build-a-bear, per her request! It was our last day to hang out together during the day while the other two were at school. Kindergarten starts school two days after the rest so the students can meet with their teachers for assessments.
