Today we reached yet another milestone with dash. Since I have found out I was pregnant with Ali i have been telling the kids that God put a baby in mommys tummy. Sammie has always just rubbed my belly and kissed it when i pull up my shirt to show them where the baby is. Dash usually says, "no mom, no baby" and pulls my shirt down.
This morning i was telling dash that Reece would be here soon to play with. and from no where he says, "baby, mommys tummy" with a big smile on his face. He is such a great big brother. I would not trade him for anything.
It is interesting to think of it that way as i type that out. About a month ago i had asked Ryan why he thought God gave us dash. I know that God knew what he was doing when he gave us dash, but i have wondered why i am the one with the very active, strong willed stubborn kid. While everyone else "seems" to have it easier. I dont wish for anything else and i am not mad that he gave me dash. I love dash and am very thankful that God trusted me with him. ryan told me because God knows we would love the crap out of him. Which is very true. I dont find myself longing for anyone elses kid, but was curious. Today and mostly now I think another reason is He knew Dash would make a great and amazing big brother for sammie and ali.
