"Dash Potty"

Today we were at target doing some shopping and at the checkout i could tell dash had a stinky diaper. So we went to the bathroom to change him and he did great(he has been giving me a really hard time lately)! Then as i was about to put his diaper back on he said, "no mom, dash potty." "YOU WANT TO SIT ON THE POTTY" "yeah"

Dash does not want to sit anywhere near the potty at home. if you ask, "dash no potty". Even when offered to read his special thomas books, or get a thomas sticker.

so i thought i would humor the idea thinking that as soon as i put him on he is going to throw a fit. Nope we sat there 2-3 minutes. so much so i was crouched down enough that i had to go potty. When i came back i went to put his diaper back on, "no not this, dash potty". so we sat another 2-3 minutes.

after we get out of the bathroom, called daddy to tell him the great news, get our boots, coat, and hat on he wants to go again! so i am not going to stand in the way if he wants to sit then lets sit. this time we only sat 1-2 min before he said he was done, but still three times in a row!

We were late to my brothers basketball game because of this, but we were able to watch some! And to top it off he sat on the potty there too!

None of the times did he actually go, but we are steping in the right direction!
