Tubes?!?

Today we take Sammie to the Dr. to find out if the 2nd antibiotic shot has helped her ear infection. Her Dr said that if it doesnt we need to seriously start considering tubes. This took me for a surprise. Granted Dash had his at 10 months, but he had 9 double ear infections in 7 months! Sammie has had maybe 3 or 4 her whole life and she is almost 18 months. But when she gets one it is very very difficult to get rid of it. For example, this one that she has she has been fighting since mid December. She has had 3 differant antibiotics and 2 of the 3 antibiotic shots. When I took dash in this last monday to have him checked for his green eyes and green nose he looked at Sammie. Dash had an ear infection, but sammie's were worse and she's been on the antibiotics! Thus the shots began. The poor girl, just looking at the band-aid hours later starts kicking and screaming!
I dont know why this time I am more nervous about the procedure, but I found myself nervous. Maybe it's the hormone level, maybe because it took me by surprise, maybe it's because she is my baby girl, or maybe it is insurance issues! Either way please pray with us that if this is what needs to be done that we be at peace. Mostly me, Ryan is not too worried. As he said "she is one tough cookie" Which she is!
